Tammi Lee Sauco is a strong independent woman who is a self-taught mixed media artist. Tammi has carved a unique path in the art world, blending her love for vibrant colors, inspiring quotes, and a variety of textures into her creations. Utilizing mediums that range from the time-honored surfaces of Greek Marble to the contemporary canvases and cradleboards, her work offers not just visual beauty but also solace and inspiration to those who encounter it.

Residing in West Warwick, Rhode Island for over two decades, Tammi’s life is a rich tapestry of roles including being a wife, mother, and grandmother, each adding depth and perspective to her artistic expression.

Tammi began her art journey in 2018 by painting kindness stones which she would drop around her local area and the beach for people to find. When COVID caused Tammi to be laid off from her job, she embraced this period as an opportunity, and transformed an extra bedroom into a vibrant studio, a sanctuary for creativity that would later expand into a more substantial space in her basement. This new studio not only serves as a crucible for her expanding artistic endeavors but also as a venue for community engagement through pop-up sales and future classes.

Tammi’s first foray into selling her art at KarmaFest in Pennsylvania marked the ignition of her professional journey, a testament to her talent and the universal attraction and appeal of her work.

As Tammi’s artistry continues to evolve, so does her reach. Her works have traversed the United States, finding homes in 31 states, and have crossed international borders to Canada and England. Furthermore, her art has graced the silver screen in productions such as “My Acting Coach Nightmare” and “Chosen Family,” showcasing her versatility and the broad appeal of her vibrant creations.

Beyond her studio, Tammi finds joy and inspiration in the embrace of nature, whether it be camping, kayaking, or simply enjoying the beach, her family, and a menagerie of rescued pets by her side.
